oddiction.net is back up and this is the first update in well over 2 years. The website has been migrated to a hopefully, more stable hosting. The last hosting had a whole lot of downtime because it was under constant DDOS attacks or server errors. A little while back I started using Propellerheads Reason, mainly for beta testing and sound design on Rob Papen products. While wandering through the amazing tutorials Propellerheads make, I discovered the Parsec Spectral Synthesizer. The beauty of Rack extensions is that you can directly drop them in your Rack and test them for 30 days without any limitations or other annoying stuff like noise bursts or audio drop-outs. Parsec is an amazing and very powerful Synth, it makes use of Additive Synthesis. This might sound complicated, but I assure you, this RE is so easy to use and SO inspiring! While playing around with it (and adding it to my want-for-Xmas-List!) I made a few patches which I’m more then happy to share with you.

First month of the year is over and although it didn’t start all that well for me, it played out to be a pretty good month. Traffic on my website increased massively, almost 1600 unique visitors from all over the world, now that did put a smile on my face! 2013 is running out, I’m not really big into yearbooks,overviews and lists, so I will keep this short.
Tons of cool and interesting things have happened for me during the past year. The sound design activities are expanding and I still have some line and sinkers out there.
